Where are the lessons held?

The lessons are normally held in schools/nurseries, local parks, leisure centres, church halls, scout huts and community/family centres.

Are the coaching sessions fully insured?

All Super Players sessions have public liability insurance.

Are your coaches qualified and trained?

All our coaches have had full in-house training and are CRB checked, first aid trained and have completed the safe guarding children course.

Do Super Players do parties?

How long are the sessions?

Ages 2 – 3.5 the session lasts 30 minutes.

Ages 3.5 – 5 and 5-7 the session lasts 30 and 45 minutes.

Ages 8-11 the sessions last 45 mins and 60mins.

School Clubs are 1 hour.

This may vary if in schools and nurseries depending on their requirements.

What is appropriate for the children to wear and should they bring anything?

Clothing and footwear your children feel most comfortable and confident in. With outdoor sessions children must be wearing clothing for protection from all weather conditions, including cold and hot. They should also bring some refreshment such as a drink.

Is the coaching part serious?

At Super Players the most important factor is the children have fun and enjoy the sessions. With the older children the lessons do get a bit more sport specific but this is done using many games and skills.

Are Super Players sessions for boys and girls?

Yes! There is a good mix of both girls and boys.

Isn’t sport for ages 2-5’s dangerous, my child is quite small for their age, will they get hurt?

There is no contact physically (e.g. tackling) in Super Players lessons. The sessions are based on important motor skills, e.g. running, kicking, catching, balance and passing.

What do the sessions involve?

The classes are full of educational skills such as counting, sharing, taking turns, naming colours and are well structured fun sessions involving warm up/down, physical exercise multi-skills and multi-sports. But the most important aspect is the children have FUN!
